2m Diameter 4.25m Length with a Core Barrel – A New Milestone in Pile Drilling

A new milestone has been achieved in large-diameter core drilling with our 2.0 m water-through core barrel.

The core barrel, measuring Ø2.0 m × 4.5 m in height and equipped with 20 detachable roller cone bits, successfully drilled through extremely hard 120–160 MPa granite. The longest recovered core reached an impressive 4.25 m, with several core sections measuring approximately 3.8 m.
